What Paint Supplies Do You Have in Your Classroom?

Below is a Facebook post I wrote after hearing from a few teachers.

What’s in your classrom?

“Hi!

I’ve just had a message from a fantastic teacher who mentioned her class (and many others) don’t usually have access to acrylic paint.

She said in elementary schools, she and her colleagues “…are dealing with poster type paint, washable paint sometimes, the hard kind puck style, but more often a liquid tempera type of paint…”

about paints excerpt from How to Paint with Acrylics HANDBOOK for the Absolute Beginner what's best for the beginnerI’d like to know what you (all the great teachers out there) are using in your classrooms- PLEASE leave a comment and share your experience.

In the meantime, check out this excerpt ABOUT PAINTS from How to Paint with Acrylics HANDBOOK for the absolute beginner: https://acrylicmuse.com/paints-handbook/

I know for certain, much of the information and many of the techniques covered in the How To Paint with Acrylics paint series can be applied to use with other kinds of paints, but I want to see exactly what you’re working with in your classrooms, so am planning getting my hands on some tempera paints in the next while to do some experimenting. –

Have a great weekend everyone!”
